Lazy Daze
We didn't have class yesterday due to the summer grad. ceremony, but I went in to get a little work done anyway. Walking back, it was so freakin' hot that Katie and I stopped at the Ice Cream truck for "99's". Don't ask me why they call it a 99, I have no clue. It was just a sugar cone with vanilla ice cream and your choice of fruit syrup topping. I chose strawberry, which I proceeded to get on my pants. The ice cream had more air in it than US ice cream. It was almost like dense whipped cream. Anyway, it was yummy. I also played checkers with Juliette, the 8 year-old in my house family, the other day. My ego is slightly boosted knowing that I can beat an 8 year-old at checkers, or as they call it, draughts. After dinner, the group went up to the Downs ( insert lame joke here, I don't even know if that is the correct spelling) and played Ultimate Frisbee. Well, they played. I watched, as I have all of the athletic ability of a grapefruit. It was fun. Afterwards we ended up at the fish and chips place again. I swear the guys eat there at least once every two days. I have been in several times, but I only order water because I am generally not hungry at 11:30 at night and I really don't like vinegar on fries.
I changed the time stamp thingy, so the times of your comments should be correct, as long as you are on EST. I'll change the time for my posts to England time, but I can't change the comments, so that is going to stay a bit weird. Oh, and when you all get your postcards, please tell me. I'd like to know how long it takes mail to get there.

I hear beer (or as they call it, Stout) helps kill the taste of vinegar on fries.
Warm beer is especially good for that. Killing taste buds, brain-cells, and your humanity, all at the same time!
Sorry I haven't logged on in a couple of days. Been really busy at work. Had dinner with Chrys this evening at Olive Garden. Finally remembered to use the gift cards that I've been carrying around for months. Sounds like you are having fun, although the human morbid side of me is really wondering about last Friday. Didn't sound too good. Read the posts from you and Sonya. So I guess I have used the "Watcha doing this weekend..." line a time or two. But at least it always is some sort of adventure. This past one was even scrapbook worthy. Don't I feel proud! I will try to be better at logging on every night. I'm an old woman (although younger than Sonya) and the memory just doesn't seem to work like it used to. Love ya.

For all who are reading this....Reni is the OLDER, DECREPIT sister, while I, Sonya am the young, beautiful, smart sister. As for your memory working like it used to.....that implies that it worked to begin with, and we ALL know better!
Beth, I am anxiously awaiting my postcard....just don't mix up mine and Arnold's addresses....I don't want a picture postcard of you in a bikini! :P
Last Friday was just a bunch of little things that added up to a really bad day. I can't remember half of them now, but they were things like my pants ripping, only getting half as far as everyone else in CAD class, etc. Nothing truely terrible happended. It was just added to together that made them bad. On a lighter note: Sonya, now you've gone and done it. Arnold will now want a postcard of me in a bikini and be quite disappointed when he gets a picture of the oldest man in Bristol wearing a speedo.
:-(
Don't worry Arnold, I have a lot of pictures of Beth and Photoshop, I'm sure I can come up with something if Bethel doesn't kick in! :)
Hey, maybe we can get Will to go over to Charleston and take a picture of Arnold in a speedo. Hmm..
I don't know that I'd inflict that on Will. But there are worse shots of me on the internet already! :-P
After you've seen the pictures of Arnold in drag, I'm not sure a speedo would be much worse!
