Johnny, Johnny Everywhere...
DragonCon was awesome. I swear the ticket price was worth it just to see all of the costumes. Some people really put time and money into those things. The Johnny Depp Characters of Willy Wonka and Captain Jack Sparrow were really popular. There was even a couple that had exact costumes so that it looked like Willy Wonka and Willy Wonka's mini me. There were huge costumes and ...uh... very tiny costumes ( scantily clad women and men). I went to a few panels and lectures. Arnold and I even went to a Spamalot panel. We got to game a bit with Dave, who got us an awesome suite hotel room. I met the homestarrunner peeps. I even got Peter Mayhew ( Chewbacca)'s auto graph. I even made it back in time for class on Monday. Other than Arnold being a bit under the weather, it was a totally awesome experience.

You forgot to mention the corsetting panels! And the talent show and the waiting for the elevators and the parade and the tv spots and the art exhibits and the B Movies and the LPP folks and all the rest of the fun!
Plus I got to meet Phil Brucato! And Charlie Chalkdust, and Karl and Julie Lepp! Woot!
And let's not forget Ray Park. ;-)
Well, now that I'm back on the net, I can read more frequently! My power supply in my tower died. Luckily, I saved an old HP tower with a fried motherboard and was able to yank the power supply from that and put it in my Presario....well, not exactly IN my Presario. The HP power supply is smaller than my old one, so it won't fit in the tower...therefore, my tower is wide open with the power supply dangling from the side. BUT you're aunt is a "genus" for getting the damn thing to work in the first place, so I don't much care what it looks like! School is GREAT I have my own CLASSROOM and I'm teaching ALL - get this!- MUSIC CLASSES!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!! :) I Should have my furniture all moved next weekend and then life will be truly groovy! Hope everybody's well.
