Cupcakes and Babies
So, I know I only update this thing when I have cute pictures of Layne or cake pictures. At least this time you get both. I visited Tampa for a zoo fundraiser that Chrys (Grandmother to Layne) invited me to. Of course we took tons of Layne pictures before we left for the event. I also made cupcakes for Thanksgiving. Very few were eaten, as usual. At some point I am going to have to make ugly cupcakes so people will eat them. Though the cornucopia cupcake was fugly and no one ate that one either, so it may be a flawed theory.

Awesome pic of you and Layne! I ate 2 cupcakes, and didn't die, so can attest that they were fine. Don't feel bad, the prettier the food, the less likely it is to be eaten. I took a beautiful watermelon basket full of fruit salad to a family reunion once, and it wasn't touched! As always, it was good to see you and Arnold! See you at the reunion in June!

Those fruit and veggies look fantastic, as well! You did a stellar job! The cornucopia is a little intimidating in its size, so maybe that turned people off?
To be fair, I'd hate to destroy such nice work by eating it. Irony be damned. :)

I think this is the LONGEST you have gone without posting. You can't tell me you haven't at least baked some cool cupcakes in THREE MONTHS or be busier than I am, as I am AD for Little Shop at PHS, AND in a light opera (H.M.S. Pinafore) at WVU-P! One more week of hell (i.e. tech week) and then I can get some sleep and maybe a decent meal. Hoping all is well with you.
