Long time coming...
I have no good excuse for not updating in almost two months. Many interesting, blog worthy things have happened, as seen on the blogs of most of the people who read this thing. There were Birthdays and RenFaires and the moving of very large objects among too-friendly dogs with POS moving trucks. There was a Secret Santa gift exchange and an office holiday lucheon where no one ate my cupcakes. There was OSHA training where I had pictures of me in full Haz Mat gear. There was even a Thanksgiving road trip in there somewhere.
And yet, I still didn't update. My only option is to chalk it up to laziness and promise (with my fingers crossed behind my back) to do better in the future.
A future that will have an Egyptian Christmas, and Floridian Christmas and a New Years something. I am sure it will also have a tale of evil airlines and long stays in airports with 10,000 of my closest friends.

Eh, don't fell bad about not posting. I used to, until I realized that my posts were more interesting if they came from me having something to say. I also had to start ignoring Arnold's demands for posts. :)
Update: Delta put my luggage on the wrong flight. Just mine. Arnold's and the one with the presents got here just fine. Delta claims it will be delivered sometime before midnight tonight, but I have my doubts. Doubts that lead me to buy some underwear today, just in case.

huh ... ??!! I had to read that one twice. It would serve them right if their next Delta flight was overtaken and boarded by pirates!!*
*smart travellers know that if you keep your gold dubloons and strands of pearls in your luggage and your Delta flight IS boarded by pirates, you stand a good chance of not losing your jewelry!
Don't feel too bad. This has been posted for over a month, and I'm just now reading it! Hope your holidays went well. Looking forward to seeing pics. I just sent the school yearbook to the publisher this week! Yeah! Once less thing to worry about. Considering I've been working so hard that my hair has begun to fall out (again!) that is a good thing. Hoping for a snow day tomorrow, but so far we're still on. Take care, and keep in touch.
