Gelato Spaghetti

We went down to Spoleto again on Saturday. Luckily we went early enough to avoid most of the traffic nightmare. We met Tim at the Visitor's Center and walked around and looked at art a bit. When Arnold saw a restaurant with "nacho" in the title we had lunch, though we didn't have nachos, we had quesadillas. We walked around a bit more and then Roger joined us. He hadn't eaten yet so we were once again on the search for a restaurant. We ended up at WildWings. The only interesting part of WildWings was that when I sat on to toilet in the girl's bathroom my knees hit the lockless door. No, I didn't spontaneously grow 2 feet, the stall was that small.

We saw three shows. The first was a one-man Star Wars show that was hilarious. He even kept the bit about Chewy not getting a medal at the end of the first(fourth) movie. The second said it was a "Vaudeville" act. It was really a show for kids where one man makes a fool of himself as many different characters. However, anyone who can do a handstand on an 8 ft ladder and then tuck and tumble off of it deserves some respect. We had gelato in between the first two shows. Arnold and I ordered gelato spaghetti. They put gelato through a pasta press and then cover it in raspberry sauce. Mmm...Delicious.Roger and Timm went home after the second show. Arnold and I weren't hungry show so we just went to the park and killed some time. It was quite peaceful.

The third show deserves its own paragraph. It was a sort-of musical called Tristan and Yesult. It was put on by a Cornish (as in from Cornwall) theatre troop. It was a modern twist on the story, or stories as there have been many versions over the centuries. The show was visually stunning, humorous, serious, and pretty much awesome. It is, however, hard to describe in detail.

The only interesting traffic we hit was on the way home because it was late and multiple events were getting out at the same time the clubs were getting filled up.

I'm all confused?!? Which post should I post to?

Well, I blogged these events as well, but let it be known you did it first.

Congrats to you.

I hope the Mario that you have discovered on my harddrive at home doesn't distract you from scrapbooking all these events.

Loves!
