Frogs and Outhouses
So, I really do need to post more often. It seems I only post about cakes and even then, it has been a month since one of these cakes was made. The cupcake tree was made by me, my mom, and my aunt Sonya. Since we are from West Virginia I decided to make farm themed cupcakes for the family reunion. I was in a time crunch, so the detail in the cupcakes is lacking, due mostly to the fact that it took me three hours to make the outhouse. I would like it noted that I made 8 marshmallow animals in the time it took Mom and Sonya to make two a piece. Theirs' had more detail and all, but speed was needed to ensure the cake would be completed The outhouse was edible by the way. However, Patty can attest that edible and tasty are two completely separate things. The most amusing part was that Sonya kept adding water to the Marshmallow fondant , which is a bad thing, because if you add too much water the fondant sags and never dries. She ended up with a very saggy pig.

Hooray! A Beth update!
I didn't know how much of the cake was you and how much was Tes, but either way it looked good (and tasted good too!)
You gonna make another this weekend?
The frog rocks. Where are the pig and chicken pics. I feel shorted.
Just kidding

You are short.
The pig pic has definately dissappeared forever, I'm sure. But thanks for telling the ENTIRE internet community of my fondant foul-ups! In case you mom hasn't told you, I will be teaching at PHS this year - home economics! We will NOT be making fondant pigs!
