A month later...

So, it has been almost a month since my last update. Given my crappy memory, I really should update more often. An entire post could have been dedicated to Cirque Du Solei. It was just that awesome. Anyway, a few cool things happened in the last month. Some not so cool things happened as well. Arnold got a group together to play an RPG called Deliria. It is a storytelling game. Personally I like it better than D&D, mostly because you don't have to remember a bunch of rules in the beginning just to be able to play in any sort of cool manner. We also met some really cool people. What I enjoyed the most was that the characters we played were 8 year-olds. We had a lot of fun reliving our days as 8 year-olds as well as playing them. I tried to post some pictures, but I am using the "wireless" internet on campus and it doesn't like big files, so I'll post pictures later. I could try and explain Deliria further, but I don't think I could do it justice.

The bad stuff isn't really worth talking about.

Don't miss the outtakes link at the bottom of the first box....um..must say something piratey...um...Argh!...that was lame...um..WALK THE PLANK!...can't really enforce that one...um...Johnny Depp...mmm...

The Long Awaited Update

So I haven't posted in over a month. There needs to be a better term for "My Bad" Anyway, I will give the reader's digest version so that this update isn't a novel.
Harry Potter was fun, I made a cake (picture to come in later update)
Thanksgiving was fun, the food was good, much laughter occurred
Finals sucked, but they are over
The drive to FL was long and mostly uneventful
The third annual Scrabble tournament was fun. Chrys and Crystal each won a game. Festive head gear was worn by all
Cirque du Solei was AWESOME, even if the kid in the front row puked at the very beginning ( non- show related, possible sugar overdose)
Presents were also awesome. The prize for most interesting present goes to mom, who gave me a voodoo doll.
Up in Cincinnati, pirate Christmas was a blast (pictures in a later update)
Searching and gambling for booty was fun
The Drunken Chicken was delicious
The Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati zoo was cool, no pun intended.
Izzy's (corn beef place) was delicious as was PF Chang's
Picking out a quilt pattern and fabrics was challenging
US Air sucks and delayed us overnight without compensation of any kind
I am still a half descent low level D&D hack-and-slash player
New Years was fun, we played Catch Phrase and Cranium as well as set off some fireworks at Don's. Champagne isn't too bad when you cut it wit OJ.
King Kong wouldn't be a bad movie if you cut 45 min to an hour out of it.
Some buffets are way overpriced
I am currently reading Good Omens by Terry Pratchett. At the speed I read, I'll have it finished before...oh...March.

And that was the last month in the life of Beth Moses, college student, scrapbooker and piratess. This month puts me at so much farther behind in scrapbooking. Oh well. It will get done at some point.

I will expand on some topics above in later updates. I just wanted to cover the whole month in case my memory fails me by the time I get to updating again.
